Midas Promotions along with Blue Giraffe Entertainment and On Golden Pond Pictures regret to announce the “Divas in Dubai” concert event is being rescheduled to a later date in the Fall 2008.

“Mariah and Fergie are disappointed that they won’t be able to perform,” commented a Producer for the first time ever, back to back event. “They had scheduled this one special event in their calendars and were looking forward to performing for the Dubai fans.”

Mel Tyler, of Midas Promotions, stated that “the extremely compressed time frame along with unforeseen logistical complications compelled us to move the event later in the year to ensure a show commensurate with the level of success of these world class Artists and the people of Dubai.”

For customers who have already purchased, the ticket value will be refunded to your credit card within 10-21 working days.

E! is airing a “Live From The Red Carpet” special for this event on Thursday. So we could get a glimpse of Fergie and possibly an interview as well.

Midas Promotions, in association with On Golden Ponds Pictures multimedia entertainment company, today announced that one of the pop industry’s favorite female singers and Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie will perform a one off live show in Dubai on May 16th at Festival City.

The show will be Fergie’s first live solo performance in Dubai where she is scheduled to perform tracks from her multi-platinum debut solo album “The Dutchess”.

People Magazine is providing you with a listen to Fergie’s new song “Labels or Love”, which will appear on her re-release as well as the Sex & the City soundtrack as the movie’s theme. The song, which sample’s the show’s theme music, was serviced to radio on Tuesday.

The song has that typical Fergie feel like a mix of Fergalicious and Glamourous!

The Dutchess is here! Yup, Fergie Ferg drops in to reveal what she’s been up to and Gavin DeGraw stops by to talk about his upcoming album. Plus, we premiere Alicia Keys’ new video, “Teenage Love Affair,” and show you Augustana’s latest.

Should have known we wouldn’t truly get 5 brand new songs. No one does that when they re-release. Here’s the updated post from Interscope records on Fergie’s deluxe version of The Dutchess, due May 27.

It will include 5 new songs - “Party People” with Nelly, “Barracuda” (Heart cover), “Pick It Up” (new song!), “Clumsy - Soulja Boy Remix”, and “Labels and Love” (Sex in the City Theme song).

So, in reality, we’re only getting 2 new songs. Not bad, but 5 would have been better!

Fergie is set to perform on Thursday’s Live w/ Regis & Kelly show.

Fergie’s multiplatinum debut solo CD will be re-released in a deluxe version on May 27, according to Interscope Records.

The only details we have at this point is that the album will include 5 new songs.

Fergie’s collaboration with Nelly, “Party People”, actually slid on this week’s chart. Last week it was #54 and this week it is #63.

Meanwhile Fergie’s current solo single, “Finally”, re-enters the Bubbling Under Chart at #24.

According to the director of the Sex & The City Movie, Michael Patrick King, Fergie has recorded a new song for the movie’s soundtrack!

Fergie just recorded the film’s opening number. “It’s called ‘Labels & Love,’ ” he says. “It’s an entirely new song with lyrics, but it has the Sex and the City theme as the DNA — on steroids.”
