BEP Nominated for MuchMusic Video Award

The MuchMusic Video Awards go down June 20th (at 9ET/6PT) in Toronto, Canada and the ‘Peas are up for the International Video Of The Year – Group award (“I Gotta Feelin”) at the show. Check out the full nominee list here.

I’m not 100% certain, but I believe MuchMusic network is pretty similar to what MTV is here. Well, back when MTV was mostly about music, lol. So the MMVA’s are kind of like Canada’s VMA’s.

Fergie Going “Rock” for Next Solo Album?

Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash (whom Fergie worked with on his upcoming debut solo album, due this spring) recently did an interview with Metal Hammer where we shares that he may be working with Fergie on a rock collaboration.

“I might actually do a rock record with Fergie, because she wants to do a rock record so I might get involved with her on that. She’s got this killer rock ‘n’ roll voice.”

I always figured she’d try a new sound for the next album. Loved The Dutchess, but can’t wait to hear her new material! Fergie rarely disappoints me when it comes to music.

This year was no different as The E.N.D. is on track for higher numbers this week.

The Black Eyed Peas — which earned three trophies during the pre-show, and also performed “Imma Be” and “I Gotta Feeling” during the broadcast — could see its album of the year-nominated “The E.N.D.” move between 65,000 to 75,000 copies. Last week, the set was No. 10 with 40,000.
