Fergie shot the video for the 5th single off of her debut solo album, The Dutchess, a couple of weeks ago. Here’s a little snippet from MTV.com

While her fellow Black Eyed Pea Will.I.Am is hyping his new project, Songs About Girls, Fergie isn’t slowing down with her own solo affair, last year’s The Dutchess. The singer just shot a clip for the song “Clumsy” with directors Marc Webb (Diddy, the Pussycat Dolls) and Rich Lee (Chamillionaire, Dashboard Confessional). The surreal, humorous clip features Fergie falling head over heels — get it? — for love in various scenarios.

Stacy Ferguson (Fergie’s real name), has rocked the fashion world by signing a deal with Kipling North America to design two handbag collections – one for Fall 2007 and another one for Spring 2008.

“As with every project that I’m involved with, I plan to put all of my heart and creativity into this one, and I’m thrilled to work with such an amazing brand. I look forward to putting my personal touch on each and every design in my signature Kipling collections,” exclaimed Fergie to the press.

A representative from Kipling released a statement about the brand’s enthusiasm about working with The Dutchess: “Fergie has become a fashion icon in her own right and inspires women across the world – whether she’s singing on tour or walking the red carpet.
