Fergie and Josh’s Low-Key Lovers’ Weekend

Sounds like Fergie’s big Sin City celebration tired her out. After the birthday girl left Vegas, she headed to Scottsdale, Ariz., with fiancĂ© Josh Duhamel for a quiet and romantic getaway. The couple arrived at the Mondrian hotel on Friday, where yet another birthday party was planned for Fergs at Asia de Cuba restaurant.

But the bash was canceled last minute, and they opted for room service instead. Apparently, Fergie wasn’t feeling so well. “She requested only bland foods be brought to her room, like chicken broth, plain chicken and rice,” says a source. She did manage to make it to the Tempe Music Festival on Saturday night where she was scheduled to perform.

But other than a brief appearance at the pool, where Josh was spotted doting on his g-f, the twosome holed up in their 1,500-foot luxury suite. With two 42-inch-plasma TVs, three private balconies and dual showerheads in the posh room, we can’t really blame them.

Fergie Celebrated her 33rd Birthday in Vegas

Fergie is one Black Eyed Pea who knows how to party! She rang in 33 years yesterday with a glamorous Las Vegas birthday bash, where she changed outfits three times throughout the night and was dripping in more than $150,000 worth of Cartier diamonds. Fergs, along with fellow birthday boy Quentin Tarantino, threw a blowout at the Mirage with 100 of their BFFs, including Diablo Cody, Nelly and Kid Rock.

First, the party posse saw LOVE, Cirque de Soleil’s tribute to the Beatles, and then it was off to a chichi cocktail party at Bare Pool Lounge, complete with fire and belly dancers. Hungry guests grubbed on mini mac ‘n’ cheese poppers, tuna tacos and Kobe sliders from Stack restaurant while Fergie’s man, Josh Duhamel, downed margaritas.

After a change of clothes and hairstyles, the Duchess headed to Jet nightclub, where she and Quentin blew out the candles on their joint birthday cake. After posing for pics, the two of them got into a full-on cake fight.

And how’s this for interesting? While Fergie has denied recent rumors that she’s pregnant, our sources

Fergie closes Tempe Music Fest with a bang

The so-called Dutchess of Pop herself, Fergie, closed out the most successful Tempe Music Festival in its six year existence Saturday with a set consisting of a Black Eyed Peas medley, tunes from her 2006 solo disc, “The Dutchess,” and a host of surprising covers during her hour and fifteen minute set.

Mixing hip-hop with pop, Fergie — who went through three costume changes during her set (from all white to, eventually, all black) — whipped through such solo tunes as “Glamorous,” “Voodoo Doll,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Pedestal,” and her 2006 No. 1 smash, “London Bridge,” when not offering a medley of songs by Black Eyed Peas (her ensemble gig), including “My Humps,” “Hey Mama” and “Where’s the Love.” She also covered Heart’s “Barracuda” and a “Live and Let Die/Black Dog” Paul McCartney/Led Zeppelin mash-up.

The Dutchess proved to be a fully capable festival headlining act on her own without BEP, and her final tune, the catchy pop smash “Fergalicious,” had the crowd bobbing their heads in unison as the singer and her many back-up dancers hip-hopped and breakdanced about the stage.

Press Release: Fergie is VIVA GLAMOROUS

Three-time Grammy Award winning artist and latest M.A.C VIVA GLAM spokesperson, Fergie, is using her voice to further raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS crisis in youth. Along with PoetNameLife, she has recorded ‘VIVA GLAMOROUS’, a remix of her hit song ‘Glamorous’, as an added contribution to her VIVA GLAM VI campaign. A limited number of free downloads of the remix and VIVA GLAM E-cards will be available March 25, 2008 on maccosmetics.com. The E-cards reinforce Fergie’s Responsibility is Glamorous message by pairing her sexy VIVA GLAM visual with alarming AIDS facts that concern youth. She also encourages people to buy a M.A.C VIVA GLAM VI Limited Edition Lipglass, the sales of which benefit the Global Youth Prevention Initiative. The M.A.C AIDS FUND directs the funds from this initiative to international organizations that address the AIDS crisis in young people. The remix will also be available in April on M.A.C websites in the U.K., France, Australia and Germany.

“Half of all new HIV/AIDS infections are in people under twenty-five and it is important that we get the message out to all young people to be educated and understand the risks of HIV/AIDS. I want to bring more attention to this issue and my music allows me to reach the youth that are potentially at risk.” M.A.C VIVA GLAM VI Spokesperson Fergie

The M.A.C AIDS Fund, the heart and soul of M.A.C Cosmetics, was established in 1994 to support men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS globally. M.A.F is a pioneer in HIV/AIDS funding, providing financial support to organizations working with underserved regions and populations. As the largest corporate non-pharmaceutical giver in the arena, M.A.F strives to raise awareness of four key issues in the fight against HIV/AIDS: prevention, the link between poverty and HIV/AIDS, access to care, and adherence to medications and treatments. To date, M.A.F has raised $100 million (U.S.) exclusively through the sale of M.A.C’s VIVA GLAM lipstick and lipglass, donating 100 per cent of the sale price to fight HIV/AIDS. Redoing the Gallery

I’m really “over” using 4images for this site’s gallery. It’s so easily hackable and I’ve I like Coppermine better. So I installed Coppermine tonight and started moving files. There isn’t a script that makes migrating the gallery easy, so it may take a while to manually do it. So far, I’ve moved 100 pics and it only took a little while. I’m not going to re-launch until everything is moved. This may take a couple of weeks, but I’ll keep everyone posted!
