Glastonbury headliners revealed!
BEP will play Glastonbury 2004. The list of performers and headliners has just beeb released. They will playing on Saturday, June 26, on the Main Stage. BEP appear on AFL Compilation
The American Football league (AFL) is putting together a "Greatest Hits" compilation in partnership with Universal Music Enterprises. The limited edition CD, "There’s a Rumble in the House!", will be sold at Best Buy stores beginning April 4 or online at
BestBuy.com. BEP's track on the CD is "Anxiety" which features Papa Roach.

BEP to participate in Kick Butts Day
On Kick Butts Day, kids turn the tables on Big Tobacco with events that range from mock-funerals for the Marlboro Man to rallies at state capitols to surveys of tobacco advertising. Activities in Washington include (all events are on March 31 unless otherwise noted):
The Washington Department of Health will present one of its "Tobacco Smokes You" concert series on Kick Butts Day at the
Moore Theater in Seattle. The
Black Eyed Peas will perform at 6:00 PM. Members from Skagit H.E.A.T. (Helping Educate About Tobacco) will "Raid the Streets" near the theater to get the word out about the dangers of tobacco. The Department of Health features more information on this and many other statewide events at

Black Eyed Peas Find The Love In Canada
After releasing two critically acclaimed albums to little fanfare, the Black Eyed Peas have finally hit it big with 2003’s Elephunk.
Fans in Canada will be happy to know that they will have the chance to fill in for Justin Timberlake on the chorus for "Where Is The Love," join in on the simple hook to "Shut Up" and move to the dancehall rhythm of "Hey Mama" live.
Will.i.am, Taboo, Apl.de.ap and the group’s newest addition, Fergie, will bring their pop/funk driven brand of happy hip-hop to Canada for eight club dates. Sweatshop Union will be opening for BEP during the shows in east, while Toronto’s Blues Underdog will take over the opening spot in Western Canada.

Bif Naked, Black Eyed Peas And Gob Hit The Slopes In Whistler
Every year, Whistler B.C. hosts The Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival — an event that combines skiing, snowboarding and music. One of the biggest attractions at the festival is the DKNY/JEANS Outdoor Concert Series. This is a free series of concerts that take place on every afternoon during the 10-day festival. Bands that played at the event in previous years include Nickelback, Pennywise, MixMaster Mike and Matthew Good Band.
"This year’s line-up is awesome," said the festival’s entertainment agent, Derek Arrowsmith in a statement. "[The series] brings together top talent with the best emerging artists in a spectacular outdoor venue, and best of all, thousands of fans get to see these acts for free."

London to get taste of Peas
U.S. hip-hoppers Black Eyed Peas will be in London May 3.
U.S. hip-hop superstars Black Eyed Peas are bringing their Elephunk tour to London in May. Elephunk (Universal) is the group's third album and has already yielded two No. 1 hit singles in Canada, the Los Angeles band's biggest market outside the U.S. The Black Eyed Peas -- Will.I.Am, Apl.De.Ap, Taboo and newcomer Fergie -- named the album Elephunk to conjure up the image of a big, deep funk sound.
The hip-hop collective is touring to support Elephunk, which contains the Grammy-nominated hit single Where Is the Love? Known to fans by the initials BEP, Black Eyed Peas play Club Phoenix on May 3.

Wanted on MTV: Black Eyed PeasThe hip hop music band Black Eyed Peas is the most wanted artist of the month on MTV. The band is better known for its hit single 'Shut up' from the latest album 'Elephunk'.
MTV brings a peek into the lives, inspirations and glimpses of the actual people behind the face of great music of Black Eyed Peas on MTV Jams on 17 March at 10 pm, 28 March at 1 pm and on 31 March at 1 pm. The band will also be seen on MTV Select and Non Stop Hits.

"Hey Mama" Chart Update
The single has debuted in at #6 on the Official UK Charts this week! Thanks to all the fans that picked up the single! And to those who haven't; what are you waiting for?!
On the R&B side of the things, BEP rose 2 spots to #2 with "Hey Mama". So the song appears to be doing very well in the UK!

According to industry magazine, All Access,
Elephunk has now gone Platinum! They are advertising it on a banner on their site for "Hey Mama". Usually, All Access starts promoting RIAA certifications a week or 2 before Billboard does, so this is great news! 1,000,000 albums shipped in the US! Congrats to BEP! Check out the banner below:

Black Eyed crowd Peas-ers
HIP-HOP stars the Black Eyed Peas popped into Streatham's newest bar where they treated customers to a very intimate gig.The band, best known for their chart-topping collaboration with Justin Timberlake, Where Is The Love?, arrived at Aqua Lounge at 11.30pm straight from their Brixton Academy gig last week.
The much smaller Streatham audience was treated to its own Peas gig before the stars signed autographs at the Streatham High Road venue.
The Peas, who hail from Los Angeles, weren't the only stars to drop in at the bar, which opened three weeks ago in the Old Post Office building.
Legendary dance hall artist Beenie Man was there the following night. With more than 50 No 1s in Jamaica, Beenie Man was in Streatham to promote his new single, Dude.
Aqua's events and entertainment manager, Gooch, told the South London Press the bar was pleased with its star-studded start, adding: "We're trying to start something vibrant and exciting in South London."

Official Billboard Numbers
The official Billboard numbers for sales of
Elephunk differed quite significantly from the Hits Digital Ventures chart. Hits had the album coming in at #20 this week and Billboard reports that the album is instead at #34. There was an increase in sales in both charts, though. So, it's really good to see (after more than half a year) that BEP is still selling well! These numbers will hopefully increase some more once they hit the road with N.E.R.D. this Monday!

BEP continue to clim up the US album charts!
According to Hits Daily Double, BEP's album
Elephunk lands at #20 this week! It jumped 18 spots and sold 40,126 copies, which is 38% more than it sold just last week! Surely,
Elephunk is close to a platinum certification by the RIAA, if they haven't already received it. (Platinum indicates a shipment of 1 million units). Keep in mind, the numbers from Hits Magazine differ slightly than the official soundscan numbers that Billboard publishes. So I'll try to get another update later this week when those numbers are released!

BEP land opening spot for Dave Matthews Band
According to Billboard Magazine, BEP have secured an spot to open for the Dave Matthews Band August 28-29 at the Home Depot Center in Carson City, CA. The other opening act for the 2-day performance is Ben Harper. Tickets are on sale on Mar. 27 at 10:00AM and the cost is $58.00.

Black Eyed Peas' Darkness plans
The Black Eyed Peas have been revealing more details about their planned collaboration with 'The Darkness'.
They all met at the Big Day Out festival in Australia earlier this year, and Justin joined them on stage for one of their songs called 'Retarded', so it could be another version of that.
will.i.am from the Peas says that even though it's been done before, they're hoping it's going to be an amazing rock/rap hook up:
